Mike Mattern, A. Sc.T - President

Mike is the President of MPM Construction Services Ltd.  Graduating from SIAST Palliser Campus in Moose Jaw in 1994, Mike became a Civil Engineering Technologist.  He is registered with the Saskatchewan Applied Science Technologist and Technician's Society (SASTT) as an Applied Science Technologist (A.SC. T). Mike has been involved in a variety of roles in the Engineering and Construction fields such as materials testing, drafting, survey and layout, subdivision and building design, Contract Administration and Project Management and land development. 


Often you will find him out on the job site overseeing the progress and construction of each job making sure every client is satisfied with the progress. When he isn’t working he is enjoying quality time with his three daughters camping, boating or in his garage enjoying his love for motorcycles and trucks.

Ronel Anyog - Estimator

Ronel acquired a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 1987 from Far Eastern University in Manila, Philippines. His professional career began in 1988, covering most of the Philippines where he was employed as a cost estimator, office engineer, and project engineer/estimator until 2009. He also worked in Taiwan from 1994 to 1995 as an engineering supervisor in building construction.


Ronel continued to work as an estimator in Canada in 2010 working closely with customers, sub-trades, suppliers, and project managers until he joined MPM Construction Services Ltd. in October 2014, also as an estimator.


Ronel enjoys time with family and friends and continues to grow in his role as Estimator at MPM.

Shane Beckett - Field Manager

Shane Beckett is our field manager in charge of all MPM Site superintendents and field operations with 15 years of industry experience.  Shane is a Journeyman carpenter.  After working alongside Mike Mattern at their previous employer, Shane joined our team in 2010. In his current position, he has a role in all of our recent projects. He ensures that all projects run on schedule and have the available manpower to perform to Client expectations. 


His favorite part about being our field manager is the change from job to job, as there is such a variety in projects.  To him there is satisfaction in turning an ordinary building into something amazing for our clients in a short period of time.


When Shane isn’t on our job sites working he can be found spending time with his wife and four kids, along with being at a skating rink, watching a football game or camping with friends and family.

Dawson Sorensen - Site Superintendent

Dawson is a Journeyman Carpenter and has been with MPM Construction for over 11 years.  Dawson takes pride in a job well done and ensuring client expectations are met on all projects he completes.  His attention to detail is second to none in this industry.


In his spare time, Dawson enjoys family time with his wife Chancey and their two children.  Dawson also farms with his father in the spring and fall and enjoys community involvement in the Southey / Earl Grey area.
